Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, alongside other prominent figures, attended the DRC-Nigeria Business Council meeting held in Lagos.
The council, convened on Saturday, 2nd November 2024, aims to foster economic cooperation and explore business opportunities between Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Founded under the visionary leadership of Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, with the support of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the DRC-Nigeria Business Council focuses on key objectives: promoting economic growth, encouraging trade and investment between Nigeria and the DRC, exploring business opportunities, identifying sectors for collaboration, enhancing regional cooperation, and strengthening ties between West and Central Africa.
The council’s mission is pivotal for Africa’s economic advancement, highlighted by the prominent presence of Former President Obasanjo, Governor Soludo, and other key leaders.
Thus, by uniting influential stakeholders, the DRC-Nigeria Business Council strives to drive impactful change and bolster economic growth for both nations.
