The message is clear and it’s not ambiguous that “Malaria kills, but it’s preventable and curable”. Nigerians have been told that the war against one of country’s most persistent health challenges – malaria must be won.
This is the message being sent across to Nigerians by the crusaders who have made it a point of duty to tell the people that Nigerians should not die due to Malaria disease any longer.
The wife of Ooni of Ife, Her Regal Majesty, Ambassador (Dr.) Olori Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi with other important personalities in the country such as the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammed Ali Pate and other stakeholders are leading the war against Malaria.
In a short video, they re-assure Nigerians that though multifaceted nature of the malaria problem must be recognized in Nigeria, the necessity for a holistic, collaborative approach to prevent and cure it should not be the responsibility of all Nigerians.
