The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu is leaving nothing to chance to ensure a safe Lagos State that will be conducive for humans and businesses to thrive.

To this end, his government has continued to empower and equip the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps so that they will not lack anything to discharge their duties.

There is no doubt that Lagos State stands at the forefront of community policing, having established a well-organized force ahead of any other state in the nation.

According to the General Manager at Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan, who is fondly called Erinjogun Ola, the “commitment of the Lagos State Government to ensuring the safety of lives and properties remains evident in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s proactive interventions in grassroots security, in line with the THEME Plus Agenda.

“The recent commissioning of the Imota, Ijede and Orile-Agege Stations of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps the Lagos, exemplifies Governor Sanwo-Olu’s dedication to the state’s security and to take governance to the nooks and crannies of the state.

“The facilities equipped with offices, a mini cell, a store, and conveniences, will function as a central security hub for surrounding areas.

“Security is everyone’s business, and as such, stakeholders, including the royal institution, community heads, leaders, and the police, should continue supporting the Agency’s officers and the government in creating a safer and more secure environment in the state,” Prince Oyekan said.
