Deputy Governor of Edo State, south-south Nigeria, Comrade Phillip Shaibu in his magnanimity has presented lrwad built and furnished houses to two drivers working with him in the service of the state government.

The Governor took to his official Facebook page to tell the world that he was so happy presenting the two drivers with their dream homes.

He said: “Today is one of the happiest days of my life as I handed over a 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom bungalows built and furnished — located at Ute, Umagbae South of Uhunmwonde LGA — for two of my senior drivers.

“It is part of my responsibility to appreciate my workers. I have started building houses for my drivers and I have just commissioned two, for Ayo Momodu and Jonathan Orukpe.

“This is my little way of appreciating them for their dedication and loyalty since 2007 when they have been with me. I am happy that they are now landlords.

“Worthy of note is that Jonathan Orukpe is from Ewohimi in Esan while Ayo Momodu hailed from Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

Many Nigerians who read the post commended the Deputy Governor that if he could have his drivers in mind to do this kind of philanthropic gesture of building houses for them as a big boss, he would do more selflessly as the governor of the state in the future.
